Meet John B. Witte, DDS, PC

For over 40 years, Dr. Witte has provided his patients with the absolute best in dental care. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Witte completed his studies to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center Dental School, where he discovered his passion for pediatric dentistry. After completing two additional years specializing in pediatric dentistry, he finally opened his own practice in 1984.

To ensure his patients get the absolute best care, Dr. Witte continues his education in countless areas of pediatric dentistry, including dental trauma, sedation, and orthodontic therapy.

From Our Family, To Yours

Dr. John Witte and his wife, Karen, have three children, Jantzen, Bentley, and Tupelo, and four grandchildren! In 2021 Jantzen and his wife, Lauren, welcomed their first child, also the first grandchild for Dr. Witte and Karen, into the family. Their family continued to grow and baby boy #2, Cohen, was born in 2023, followed by the newest grandson, River, born in September 2025. Bentley and her husband, Josh, added baby girl Hattie to the family in January 2024. Life as grandparents is as sweet as people always say it is! Jantzen attended Texas Christian University and played baseball for the Horned Frogs, followed by a professional baseball career from 2013 until 2025. After retiring from professional ball he became a private coach to aspiring High School and College baseball players, working through virtual training and one on one meetings to help achieve goals and level up their game. Bentley attended TCU as well, graduating from the Neeley School of Business in 2015. She and her husband are employed at Fidelity Investments, working in the IT field. Tupelo graduated from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in 2020 and then attended George Fox University in Oregon, earning her Doctorate in Psychology. She and her husband, Scott, were married in December, 2025 in Portland, Oregon in a most beautiful wedding ceremony that Tupelo planned all on her own! They have a happy family with Boomer, a golden retriever, and Yzma, a long haired munchkin cat! They enjoy the amazing options of being at the beach and in the mountains all on the same weekend!

Candice, Front Desk Assistant

Candice joined our front office team in 2020 and is the first person you will see smiling when you arrive! She has two young children who keep her busy when she is not working in our office. She is happy to assist you with info about insurance benefits, payments, and scheduling appointments.

Amy, Front Desk Assistant

Amy joined our staff in February 2023, and has been an awesome addition to our amazing dental team! Amy is knowledgeable in discussing treatment needs, insurance benefits, and processing claims.

Letty, Dental Assistant

Dental assistant Letty has been making our office a fun and friendly place since 1992! She loves working with children and is excellent with our non-English-speaking patients because she is bilingual. Letty has two daughters, a cat, and a dog; and loves reading and traveling in her spare time.

Deanna, Dental Assistant

Deanna has been working with Dr. Witte as a dental assistant since 1991! She feels that the team here is like her second family, which is why she works hard to make sure every patient feels comfortable and welcomed under our care. Deanna is married and has one daughter who loves singing, acting, and dancing.
